They are barely surviving and ask that you phone if you want/need some immediate assistance, as they have no means to put together products AND read emails all day. So, I can keep making homebrew wire antennas or follow their directions and purchase through the only methods that seem to get results. I could bellyache and whine to the world that i wasn't getting what i wanted from them, but their products a hard to beat. Of course I too was initially disheartened with no communication. Had the BuddiHEX in my possession by the end of the week. By Monday I received a return email from Chris (the owner, as things are apparently bad so he is the one doing much of the order processing) and Tuesday had started communicating about how you make it all work. So, I looked a little harder and asked around, and found out that Chris left a specific note on the website, and mentioned on another YouTube interview, that we needed to work directly with email and then, had to put specifics into the subject line. Then, I hear and see on YouTube, that folks are still slowly obtaining the BuddiHex. So I called their listed phone number and a nice fellow answered and said that their supplies are quite limited and even more so, it seems nobody wants to work these days (especially when you get paid for staying home) so they have nobody left to put things together - even if they had the supply chain working in their favor. Well, I can tell you this: I emailed a couple times over as many months, my interest in the BuddiHEX and obtained no response. r/WSJTX - Weak Signal Modes! /r/hamradio - Another amateur radio subreddit! r/parksontheair/ - POTA (Parks On The Air) r/amateursatellites/ - Satellite weather RX r/mursradio/ - related to the Multi-Use Radio Service in the USA. r/hamcasters - ham related youtube, podcasts and more r/hamdevs - Hardware/Software Development r/flexradiosystems - Flex Your SDR Muscles r/EmComm - Subreddit For Emergency Communications
